The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) has named Charlotte Richards, Ga PreK teacher from Chattahoochee County Elementary, the public school PreK Teacher of the Year representing over 1,100 public PreK classrooms across the state.
Ms. Richards will receive a classroom make-over from DECAL and will serve as a legislative ambassador for Georgia Pre-K by public speaking, representing PreK programs at various state meetings, and modeling effective classroom practices that support high quality early learning.
