Vibrant Marion Folk Art Site gets Boost with Grant

 Marion County's Pasaquan - one of the most unique "folk art" sites on the planet - recently received a $4,733 Vibrant Communities Grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts.
 The Vibrant Communities grant supports a variety of arts programming opportunities throughout the state, and the Cultural Facilities grant supports capital improvements to or construction of buildings to be used for arts programming.
 Located just outside of Buena Vista, the home of the late Eddie Owens Martin (aka "St. EOM) is a seven-acre "psychedelic art installation" that reopened in 2016 after a meticulous restoration that was a joint effort between the Kohler Foundation and Columbus State University (CSU).
