BV voters reelect Mayor and vote in 2 Council members
Voters in the City of Buena Vista reelected the mayor and voted in new City Council members in last week's municipal election.
Mayor Kevin Brown received 179 votes (65%) to defeat challenger Dexter White, who received 96 votes 35%).
Syneetra Barkley received 164 votes (60%) to unseat incumbent City Council member Elizabeth Murray, who got 109 votes (40%).
