 Another Split Vote Eliminates Housekeeping Job
  The Buena Vista City Council made several changes with split votes during its recent monthly meeting.
 The biggest decision was the approval of an intergovernmental agreement with the Marion County Commission for the county government to absorb the City of Buena Vista's Recreation Department.
 As reported in last week's issue of The Journal, the County Commission approved the move during its last meeting after Mayor Kevin Brown pitched the idea. Several City Council members were also at that County Commission meeting to show their support for the proposal.
