Schley School Board Picks Next Superintendent

The Schley County Board of Education didn't have to look far to find its next top administrator. The School Board recently voted to name Harley Calhoun, who currently serves as principal of Schley County Middle-High School, as the sole finalist in its search for the system's next superintendent.
State regulations require School Boards to announce their top three finalists prior to officially voting on the superintendent position, but it is not uncommon for only one finalist to be named if by boards. They will vote to make it official in a special called meeting on March 27.
