A Chattahoochee County official lost another bid for a special zoning exemption recently, as his fellow county commissioners denied to vote on his second request for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to have a mobile home on less than five acres.
The request was turned down last October, but Commissioner Damon Hoyte had already placed the mobile home on the property, located at 110 Stagecoach Road, and refused to move it after the CUP was denied. County regulations state that an applicant must wait 12 months to reapply, but Hoyte asked for early reconsideration.
