The Chattahoochee County High football team game Coach Bruce Figgins reason to be optimistic about his debut head coaching season by scoring a shutout, 14-0, over Brookstone last Friday, August 9 in a preseason scrimmage played in Panther Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, the Panthers marched down the field and once they reached the Red Zone, quarterback Christian Brown tossed a touchdown pass to Jwan Ellington in the corner of the endzone for the first score of the scrimmage.
The only other score of the game came on a scoop-and-score fumble recovery by outside linebacker De'quavion Marchan in Cougar territory.
