Webster County's small but tight-knit Class of 2025 was honored during a Commencement Ceremony in the gym on Saturday, May 10 with the theme "One Community, One School, One Family."
Valedictorian Iris Weldin not only didn't mind being in a class of only 13 students; she wouldn't have had it any other way.
"If someone asked me if I'd want to go through high school with a different group of people, I'd say 'no way'," Weldin said. "This class is something special. From the random jokes - like 'your mom' jokes, or anything involving Randall from Monsters, Inc. - to the deep talks we've had when things got real, I'll remember it all."\u8232 She added: "Some of us have been together since Pre-K and that's kind of crazy to think about.
