Stewart 4Hers Jump Into Action

 A few of Stewart County young people recognized problems in our school and communities and decided to take action in an effort to make a change. These 4-Hers created programs with a year plan and began recruitment.
Jalescia Clark, an 8th grader at Stewart County Middle School, wanted to help students raise their grades and test scores. She recognized the importance of extra help and the benefits of peer-to-peer education. Taking the initiative, she started a tutoring service called The Learning Lab. Jalescia has already recruited top-performing students to join the Study Squad as tutors. This initiative will kick off in the 2025-2026 school term.
