City of Buena Vista to Crack Down on Trash Bins Left by Street

Fines are Set for Violations
The City of Buena Vista should soon look a little tidier and pedestrians won't have to dodge as many trash bins. The City Council passed a Trash Bin Ordinance during its recent meeting that penalizes those who don't roll their bins away from the street in a timely manner after their designated trash collection day.
Mayor Kevin Brown said it is also a safety measure, as there have been reports of vehicles hitting trash bins, as they naturally are moved a bit by wind, etc. if left beside the street for extended periods. There have been enough of those incidents that the trash company has complained...
