Buena Vista Street to be Renamed in Honor of Longtime Official

 The City of Buena Vista will honor a longtime local official by naming a street in her honor. The Buena Vista City Council recently voted to rename Forsyth Street, which runs between The Dime Store and Sportsman's Lodge, as Gladys Thomas Street.
 A Street Dedication Ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 21 at 3 pm. It will be followed by a birthday party given by her family at the Community Center on Burkhalter Avenue.
