Herringtons Featured in The Christian Index

Local residents Mack and Bebe Herrington were recently featured in The Christian Index, the voice of Georgia Baptists since 1822. The feature is below.

For the past 32 years, Mack and Bebe Herrington have been faithful to what God has asked them to do and have found love for people they never expected to meet. A chance encounter with a local doctor in 1994 prompted a ministry that has taken them to Central and South America and beyond.
"I'm not going down there," said Mack when the doctor asked him to go to Honduras in 1994. "I was a little nervous about it. We'd never been out of the country, and I was not in the military. I had heard things about Central America, and I didn't speak Spanish."
