Jackson Now Charged with Malice Murder

In the Marion County Jail Log in last week's newspaper, it was reported that Amanda Jackson, 45, had been charged on February 2 with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain crimes. Her address listed in the Register of Prisoners was 1750 Seminole Road, Richland, which is located inside Webster County.
The arrest came after she allegedly shot her husband, Phillip Jackson, 58, at what was listed on the incident report as their residence located at 6337 Highway 41 South, Buena Vista, which is located at the Southern tip of Marion County near the Webster County line, about eight miles from Preston.
