The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County is considering a temporary halt of mobile/manufactured homes being brought into the county.
Commissioner Jason Frost made it clear that he's not against mobile homes as an option for local families but also expressed extreme frustration over the number of substandard homes in the county, as well as the local government's failure to address the issue.
"It's not acceptable to bring in trailer after trailer after trailer when we have situations we haven't cleaned up," said Frost, who specifically mentioned homes at River Bend and The Vistas, as well as on Principal Drive, as part of the problem.
