Beloved Cusseta Nonprofit Raising Funds for New Home

 Latavia's Closet, the nonprofit that has helped countless needy people in Cusseta and surrounding counties, has a new home. Almost.
 As recently reported, local resident Walter Miller donated a historic building on Broad Street constructed around 1913 that was once an active hub of commerce. Now, however, it's a shell of its former self after years of being abandoned.
 Still, Latavia's Closet Founder Shirley Jones is thrilled about the possibilities and confident the community will rally together to help restore it and bring it back to life.
 "This building means the world to us," said Jones. "Now (at the present location) we only have two small rooms. I know this building needs a lot of work but I see great potential. We can have a great big room for shopping...
