The Marion County Board of Elections and Registration reminds voters that the General Primary and Nonpartisan Election Runoff will be held on Tuesday, June 16.
Locally, Marion County voters in Board of Education District 1 will return to the polls to decide the runoff race between April Brown and Debra Porter Graham, as no candidates in the race received a majority of votes in the recent election. Graham received 175 votes (46.92%), while Brown received 135 votes (36.19%). Fellow candidate Shaun Raulston got 63 votes (16.89%) and will not advance to the Runoff.
