MCHS Hires New Head Baseball Coach

 Marion County High School has hired Ches Owens as the new head baseball coach to replace Trent Dews who recently accepted a coaching position at the collegiate level. Owens will also be as assistant football coach.
 Owens is coming from Hardaway High School where he served as the pitching coach for the baseball team and offensive coordinator for the football team. He has previous head coaching experience in Taylor County.
 "Marion County has a great tradition with its baseball program and they've had some great coaches, so I'm honored and excited for the opportunity," said Owens.
 Owens has 15 years of teaching/coaching experience. Part of it was at Manchester High School. That is where he became very familiar with the Marion County High School Sports Program....
