Marion Cancels July 4th Celebration at Last Minute

 Last year the Marion County Commission hosted its first Independence Day Celebration at the Recreation Complex. It included live music and a nice fireworks show. It drew a large crowd and received good reviews and feedback.
 This year they planned another event, which was to include live music by The Handsome Henry Band and Relative Sound, as well as food trucks and a fireworks show. However, they regretfully notified the public that was cancelled around six hours before it was scheduled to begin.
 The announcement was:
