Hope on Horizon for Small Town Pharmacies

 Small town and independent pharmacies that have been struggling now have hope on the horizon. House Resolution 6610 (the Pharmacists Fight Back Act) recently passed out of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
 Nikki Bryant, owner of Adams Family Pharmacy in Preston, is one of the people who have pushed strongly for this bill.
 Bryant is an active figure in the pharmacy community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Pharmacy Association and advocating for independent pharmacists. As recently reported, she was awarded the Academy of Independent Pharmacy 2026 Pharmacist of the Year Award at the Georgia Pharmacy Association Convention.
