Public Meeting set in BV for New High-Voltage Power Lines

As previously reported in The Journal, a major infrastructure project is in the works to boost electrical capacity and power reliability across west-central Georgia. Now, local residents will soon have a chance to weigh in.
Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) has announced plans to construct the "Talbot County - Big Tazewell 500 kV Transmission Line," a high-voltage, overhead power line stretching approximately 20 miles across Harris, Talbot, Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Marion counties.
