Sophomore QB is 22-of-28 passing for 184 yards
The Schley County High School Wildcats delivered a dominant performance on the road, rolling past the Wilcox County Patriots 34-12 in Rochelle last Friday night.
Driven by a high-octane offense and a relentlessly stingy defense, five different Wildcats found the endzone in the statement victory.
The action kicked off early in the first quarter when Sterling Blanchard punched in a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:07 on the clock. Though the extra-point kick failed, Schley drew first blood at 6-0.
Wilcox County answered back quickly, capitalizing on a 28-yard touchdown pass at the 4:33 mark. A missed extra point left the game tied at 6-6, but the Wildcats were just warming up.
