The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County approved a rezoning request, noted that they continue to work toward an overall zoning overhaul, discusses rising trash costs, and discussed other issues during its recent monthly meeting.
Rezoning/CUP:The first item on the agenda brought Jonathan and Kirsten Holbrook before the board. The couple had submitted an application requesting to rezone a five-acre tract at 501 Liberty Hill Road from A-1 (Agricultural) to R-R (Rural Residential), along with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) allowing them to place a manufactured home on the property, which will be their primary residence.
