Concerns over illegal drug activity in Schley County took center stage during the October 8 meeting of the Schley County Board of Commissioners.
A local resident addressed commissioners regarding what she described as a severe, escalating drug problem impacting her neighborhood. Presenting commissioners with time-stamped photographs, the resident cited suspicious activity, heavy traffic, and an unidentified chemical smell -resembling burning plastic - coming from neighbor's property.
